Manufacturing Plant Break Area Bees

I'm sure it was quite the spectacle at a local upstate manufacturing plant when a colony of swarming honeybees landed on a fire hydrant in a grassy picnic area where employees take lunch breaks. When I came out to hive this swarm a number of employees stopped to watch how the crazy bee guy was going to get the bees to go into his box. In about 15 minutes I had the colony in my box fanning and orienting to my box rather than the hydrant. I came over to where the employees were standing and chatted with them about bees for a little while. It seems everyone is curious about honeybees! Especially when 8,000 of them suddenly arrive and all land in one place!Â
